I'm sure everyone and their mother has an opinion on what art is and what is and isn't acceptable for gallery/exhibition submissions. In this post series I'm going to share with you some of the most common do's & don'ts that we see at our gallery and why and some other useful stuff. That way you can be more prepared with your work and more importantly; get accepted and hopefully sell.
Disclaimer: Art is not one size fits all; and all of this is based off my and my teams experience, however, it's very likely you will be turned away at least a hand full of times. With this information you'll be better equipped on what to expect and hopefully avoid too many hits to your ego.
